The Edit feature is a powerful tool for quickly editing your audio and animation timing. Instead of
using an external audio program, you can now perform basic audio and animation editing within the
Macromedia Breeze Plug-In. With the Macromedia Breeze Plug-In Edit command, you can:
• Graphically view (see Moving Within the Edit Window) your entire presentation audio, including
slide markers and animation markers
• Play, record, delete and edit your audio (see Play, Record, Edit Audio), including adding silence
(see Inserting Silence)
• Graphically change your slide (see Moving Slide Markers) and animation (see Moving Animation
Markers) timing (markers)
• Set special Player Commands for playback, such as “Stop after slide playback.”
• Basic audio processing (see Volume and Audio Controls) features, including normalization and
dynamics
Note
: You should use the Edit command after you have added audio (Record or Import) and set animation timing for your
presentation.
To Insert Silence:
• Move to the audio location or slide you would like to insert silence. Click on the appropriate
location.
• In the Edit window, select Silence… from the Insert menu. The Insert Silence window will open.
• Select the number of seconds of silence to add.
• Select the location for adding silence from the drop-down menu. You have three options:
- Cursor position: Silence will be added to the current cursor location
